Slash Commands and Usage

In addition to event based notifications, the CONS3RT Slack App provides users with several slash commands to get real time information from CONS3RT

Integration:

In order to begin using the CONS3RT Slack App, it must first be installed and integrated with a CONS3RT Project

Packages and Package Options:

Options are broken down by package. To view all supported packages call the following:

/cons3rt help

Here the help option will provide a list of the supported packages

Format: /cons3rt package [space separated args]
Supported Packages:
    Help - Get all supported packages
    Cloudspaces - Get the status of all or a specific cloudspace
    Project - Get the current activity in this project
    Runs - Get the status of all or a specific deployment run
    Support - Get CONS3RT support documentation and links 
    Version - Return the current CONS3RT version 

CloudSpaces Package:

/cons3rt cloudspaces help

Within a package the help option will provide a list of the supported options

Format: /cons3rt cloudspaces [space separated args]
Supported Options:
    help - Get the valid options for a package
    (Cloudspace id provided) - Query the connectivity of a cloudspace
    (No argument provided) - List all cloudspaces this project has access to 
Query the Connectivity of a Cloudspace:

To get information about a specific cloudspace, a cloudspace id must be provided:

/cons3rt cloudspaces 2

This call will return the current status of a cloudspace including name, cloudspace type, cloud, Virtual Machines Deployed and the status of Remote Access

Cloudspaces Id

List Project Cloudspaces

If no cloudspace id is provided, all the cloudspaces that the project currently has access to will be listed

/cons3rt cloudspaces

This call will return the name and id of each cloudspace, as well as indicate the status of that cloudspace with via color

Cloudspaces

Project Package:

Format: /cons3rt project [space separated args]
Supported Options:
    help - Get the valid options for a package
    (No arguments provided) - Status of deployment runs within project
Project Activity

If no arguments are provided, the current activity of the project will be listed and broken down by cloudspace

/cons3rt project

This call will return the current number of deployment runs (in varying states) in each cloudspace the project has access to

Runs Package:

Format: /cons3rt runs [space separated args]
Supported Options:
    help - Get the valid options for a package
    (No arguments provided) - List all runs in this project for user
    (Run id provided) - Query the status of a deployment run
Query the Status of a Deployment Run:

To get information about a specific deployment run, a deployment run id must be provided:

/cons3rt runs 5001

This call will return the current status of a deployment run including name, deployment id, cloudspace, duration, state, and details about each deployment run host

Specific Run

List Deployment Runs

If no arguments are provided, the 10 newest current active deployment runs for the user (in the project) will be listed

/cons3rt runs

This call will return the current status of each deployment run including name, id, and state

User Runs

Support Package:

This package returns links to various CONS3RT support documentation including guides, samples, and videos

/cons3rt support
